Bosch utilizes a platinum firing pin on the center electrode and platinum inlay in the ground electrode. This design reduces gap erosion, increases durability and performance life while meeting Original Equipment specifications for double platinum spark plugs.

Got a bad one
I ordered 6 of these for my Macan. Turns out one was bad. The porcelain section was loose and could spin on the shaft. I didn't notice on install and got horrible misfire / rough running. Replaced with an old plug and no issues. Anyway, be sure to try to spin the porcelain before install. If it wiggles, it's bad!

30,000 mi. service requires spark plug replacement. These worked perfectly.
