Product Information

Restore the ride quality of your Cayenne with this shock absorber kit. The shocks play a critical role in the damping and handling of your Porsche. As they wear you'll experience rough handling over bumps, accelerated and uneven tire wear, along with increased braking distances. This kit was created to replace the rear left and right shocks with all of the associated components that typically wear out with high mileage such as the spring isolators, bump stops, and strut mounts, along with all of the required mounting hardware. Any item not included in the kit can be reused so long as it is in good condition upon inspection.

Suspension Shock Absorber Kit

A shock absorber kit is a set of replacement components designed to restore a vehicle's suspension system. It typically includes shock absorbers along with essential parts like mounting hardware and seals. These components work together to dampen the suspension by controlling the rebounding motion of the springs. Signs of a failing shock absorber include a bouncy ride, excessive body roll during cornering, nose-diving when braking, uneven tire wear, and sometimes visible fluid leaks from the shock.

  • Bouncy ride: The most noticeable sign, where the car continues to bounce excessively after hitting a bump
  • Nose dive when braking: The front end of the car dips significantly when applying the brakes
  • Excessive body roll in corners: The car leans excessively when turning, feeling unstable
  • Uneven tire wear: Irregular wear patterns on the tires, often with cupping or scalloping due to inconsistent contact with the road
