This kit from the Porsche team at FCP Euro includes everything you need to replace the worn radiators and associated hoses on your 996 911. For this kit, we chose to offer an excellent set of OE Mahle-Behr radiators for the narrowbody 996.

This setup is perfect for the DIY enthusiast looking to restore the cooling capacity of their 996 Carrera back to factory spec. Many 996's succumb to buildup and debris between the radiators and A/C compressors, resulting in a serious reduction in cooling capacity. For spirited driving or light track use, full effectiveness of the factory radiators is required to adequately cool the M96.

  • (3) 1 Gallon bottles of Zerex coolant
Radiator Kit

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

Mahle Behr GmbH & Co. KG is a German corporation active in the automobile industry, headquartered in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. It is a specialist for automotive air conditioning and engine cooling systems. Mahle began in 1920 when pistons made of heavy gray cast iron were being used in internal combustion engines for automobiles and there was a need for a new design. The Mahle brothers countered this trend by producing light-alloy pistons at their small, newly established company however the technology was still finicky and problems come up frequently. They soon determined that they needed to come up with a solution to keep dirt and dust out of the engine so they eventually developed air and oil filters as well.
