This offering from Genuine Porsche is a replacement horn for your Cayenne. This replacement part is the horn fitted to the front of the vehicle. Over time, the horn loses its integrity and eventually, the horn produces a weak sound, or no sound whatsoever. Not having a horn to alert other drivers on the road is a critical safety feature and should be replaced whenever you notice low or no sound.

Horn

A car horn is an electromechanical or electronic device that produces a loud audible sound to alert other drivers, pedestrians, or animals of the vehicle’s presence. It’s a critical safety component designed for communication on the road.

Horn Failure Symptoms
  • Horn does not sound at all – may be due to a blown fuse, bad relay, broken wiring, or a faulty horn unit.
  • Weak or muffled sound – often caused by internal wear of the diaphragm, corroded connectors, or poor ground connection.
  • Intermittent operation – horn works sometimes and fails other times, usually pointing to a failing switch, loose wiring, or corrosion.
