Manual Transmission Shift Knob

A manual transmission shift knob is the driver-operated handle attached to the top of the gear shift lever in a manual vehicle. It allows the driver to comfortably grip and control the gear lever when selecting gears. Beyond functionality, shift knobs also serve an aesthetic role, with designs ranging from simple factory styles to performance or custom options. A worn or damaged shift knob can reduce comfort and make gear changes less precise.
