Porsche Hot Air Hose Elbow - Dansk 1623500100

Product Information

A hot air hose is a flexible duct in a vehicle’s intake or heating system that directs warm air from the exhaust manifold shroud or heater core to the air cleaner or cabin. In older vehicles, it helps improve cold-weather engine performance by preheating intake air, while in HVAC systems it provides heated airflow for passenger comfort. A properly functioning hot air hose ensures efficient engine operation and reliable cabin heating.

• Cracks, holes, or leaks in the hose, leading to air loss or reduced performance.
• Poor engine warm-up or drivability in cold weather, due to lack of heated intake air.
• Weak or inconsistent cabin heat, if used in the HVAC system.
