My rear right latch release handle popped off and will not seem to go back on with a snug fit. Nothing seems broken on the release handle or the metal lever onto which it fits, but perhaps the plastic in the handle has stretched / given out after all these years. Does this part need any additional companion parts if my original handle is just broken (even if I cannot see the issue), or should the replacement part fit on snugly without any additional parts assuming the actual metal lever is fine? Thank you.

This is the right-side folding seat latch release handle. Assuming the metal lever/actuator on the seat is intact and not bent or worn, the replacement handle should press on and fit snugly without additional companion parts. It is likely worn or warped where it connects.
