Engine Water Pump Kit

Includes the water pump and gasket, water pump pulley, coolant, and hardware. The water pump pulley is composite and known to crack over time from experiencing thousands of heat cycles. We have included it in this kit because you may not know it is cracked until removed from the vehicle. Even if it looks ok this is the perfect time to replace it since it is being removed to replace the water pump.

The Graf water pump in this kit replaces the failure prone plastic factory impeller with a metal impeller to add reliability and longevity to your cooling system.

Engine Water Pump Kit

An engine water pump is a crucial component of a vehicle's cooling system. It circulates coolant (a mix of antifreeze and water) from the radiator through the engine and back to the radiator to prevent the engine from overheating. The pump is typically driven by the engine via a belt, chain, or gear. A water pump's key functions are to maintain a consistent flow of coolant through the engine block, cylinder heads, and radiator and regulate engine temperature to prevent overheating or freezing in extreme conditions.
