It circulates coolant (a mix of antifreeze and water) from the radiator through the engine and back to the radiator to prevent the engine from overheating. The pump is typically driven by the engine via a belt, chain, or gear. A water pump's key functions are to maintain a consistent flow of coolant through the engine block, cylinder heads, and radiator and regulate engine temperature to prevent overheating or freezing in extreme conditions.

Every thing went well EXCEPT the temp sensor included had a different connection configuration... so it was not used...Cheers, JON
