Product Information

The engine oil temperature sensor is a crucial component in an automotive engine system that measures the temperature of the engine oil. It works by detecting the resistance changes in a thermistor (a temperature-sensitive electrical resistor) which is submerged in the engine oil. This information is then sent to the vehicle's engine control unit (ECU), which uses it to regulate the amount of fuel injected into the engine, adjust ignition timing, and control the oil cooling system.
