Product Information

This engine oil change kit featuring Mobil 1 0W-40 is for 992.2 variants featuring Porsche's T-Hybrid powertrain.

Applications • Mobil 1 ESP motor oils are recommended by ExxonMobil for all types of vehicles, including high-performance turbo-charged, supercharged gasoline and certain diesel multi-valve fuel injected engines found in passenger cars, SUVs, light vans and trucks. • Mobil 1 ESP is not recommended for 2-Cycle or aviation engines, unless specifically approved by the manufacturer. • If your vehicle is covered by a warranty, follow the vehicle's oil life sensor or the oil change interval recommended in your owner's manual. Proper maintenance practices, including frequently checking the oil level to ensure that the appropriate amount of oil is present, are required to ensure effective performance. • Always check your owner's manual for the manufacturer's recommended oil viscosity grade, API service classification and any builder approval.

Engine Oil Change Kit

Over time, oil breaks down, collects dirt and debris, and loses its lubricating properties, making it ineffective. An oil change kit offers all the necessary components for replacing the old, dirty engine oil with fresh oil to properly lubricate the engine components. Symptoms include: dark or dirty oil, unusual engine noises like knocking, increased engine heat, reduced fuel efficiency, smoke from the exhaust, and often on newer models and maintenance warning lights.

Engine Oil Change Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Dark or dirty oil: When you check the dipstick, if the oil appears black or very dark, it's likely time for an oil change.
  • Engine knocking sounds: A knocking or tapping sound from the engine can indicate insufficient lubrication due to old oil.
  • Increased engine temperature: Dirty oil is less efficient at dissipating heat, leading to higher engine temperatures
