Product Information

For 911 models up to the 2.7-liter G-Model, Porsche recommends the multi-grade version with a viscosity of 20W-50. Back in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, engines were built with much more generous tolerances than today, which is why the viscosity of an oil must be low enough for it to penetrate into all areas of the engine as quickly and uniformly as possible during cold starts. At the same time, however, its viscosity must not be so low that a stable lubricating film is no longer present when the engine heats up.

Premium Mineral multigrade engine oil specially designed for classic engines built between 1950 and 1970. Lubricant for 4 stroke Gasoline or Diesel engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged with carburetor or injection, SAE 20W-50 formula meets 1950-1970 standards (API SF/CC) and combines MOTUL’s current advanced technology, developed in motorsports, to deliver a complete performance package for your classic car.

Engine Oil Change Kit

Over time, oil breaks down, collects dirt and debris, and loses its lubricating properties, making it ineffective. An oil change kit offers all the necessary components for replacing the old, dirty engine oil with fresh oil to properly lubricate the engine components. Symptoms include: dark or dirty oil, unusual engine noises like knocking, increased engine heat, reduced fuel efficiency, smoke from the exhaust, and often on newer models and maintenance warning lights.

Engine Oil Change Kit Failure Symptoms
  • Dark or dirty oil: When you check the dipstick, if the oil appears black or very dark, it's likely time for an oil change.
  • Engine knocking sounds: A knocking or tapping sound from the engine can indicate insufficient lubrication due to old oil.
  • Increased engine temperature: Dirty oil is less efficient at dissipating heat, leading to higher engine temperatures
