Torque Solution Porsche Engine Mounts are designed to limit the amount of Engine movement from side to side which throws off the balance of the car under load. The factory mounts allow the engine to move which gives the feeling of a sloppy drivetrain. The mounts will give the car a more direct feel and more precise driver input to the vehicle. You can expect a much better feel under Braking, Acceleration, & lateral G's. While typically most " Race Cars " use a SOLID MOUNT, this solution is less harsh and still maintains better control of the engine movement without the issue of Solid Mount Vibration. The next issue with Solid mounts is the transmission of noise from the chassis to the knock sensor on the engine which can result in a tuning nightmare. These mounts will not affect the knock sensor as solid mounts do.

How do these compare to OEM mounts? Is the ride comfortably still present and just the engine is more stable? My OEM mounts need replacing at 75k miles. I’m currently getting a thump in rear suspension when going over road imperfections. Trying to figure out if I should buy OEM for the comfort and understand that in 40k-50k I’m gonna need to replace them again. Although they will be covered under lifetime warranty. But if torque solutions offer a better mount with same lifetime warranty than maybe it’s the way to go. Please give me your thoughts based upon previous customer experience/ feedback. Im looking to purchase a set for my 2006 Carrera S 911 asap. Thanks Mark
