If you receive a PADM fault or PADM disabled warning message on your instrument cluster then most likely the electronic engine mount has failed and needs replacement. Consult a dealer or Porsche Certified Repair Shop for proper diagnosis.

Engine Mount

Engine mounts are designed to keep your engine and transmission supported and fixed to your vehicles frame or sub-frame without causing excessive vibrations that can enter the cabin. Engine mounts keep your drive-train properly aligned and if failed can promote drive train vibrations and premature component wear. Over time, your engine mounts deteriorate resulting in extra engine noise, engine rocking, a less enjoyable driving experience, and thus must be replaced.

Defective again....;-(
I purchased this mount replacement for my 2015 991.1 Turbo Cab in August of 2024. By May of 2025, the new part failed. The diagnostic report stated "DTC code 001013 - Left drivetrain mount pressure sensor signal line circuit short to ground". Based on online research, this is a very common problem several Porsche models. It's quite disappointing that Porsche is unable to fix this issue in this latest generation of the part. If there were an easy way to bypass the dashboard code, I'd do that as they value you get from the mount is negligable if you are not tracking the car. Very frustrating when paying over $1,800 for such a part.
