Product Information

This kit from the team at FCP Euro replaces the intake camshaft adjuster unit for Porsche 3.6/4.8 liter engines.

Order 2 kits if replacing both sides. The bolt is a torque-to-yield bolt which requires replacement each time.

Engine Variable Valve Timing (VVT) Adjuster

The engine variable valve timing (VVT) adjuster is a precision component mounted on the camshaft that regulates the timing of valve opening and closing to optimize engine performance. By adjusting camshaft phasing, the VVT adjuster improves power output, fuel efficiency, and emissions control under varying driving conditions. Typically controlled by oil pressure and an electronic solenoid, it plays a critical role in maintaining smooth engine operation and responsiveness.
