Product Information

The front driveshaft connects the transfer case to the front differential. A worn or damaged front driveshaft can experience similar symptoms to that of the rear driveshaft. The most common being noise and vibration. There are no serviceable parts on the front driveshaft so complete replacement is the only option.

This kit includes the front driveshaft and all of the hardware for a full and complete installation.

Drive Shaft Assembly

A driveshaft is a rotating metal shaft that transmits power from the transmission to the rear wheels in a vehicle, and signs of a failing driveshaft include: noticeable vibrations while driving, shuddering when accelerating, loud clicking or clunking noises, squeaking sounds, and difficulty turning, often accompanied by shaking coming from underneath the car; all of which are usually caused by worn-out U-joints or center bearing issues within the driveshaft assembly.

  • Shuddering upon acceleration: When accelerating from a stop, the car may jerk or shudder due to a damaged driveshaft struggling to deliver smooth power
  • Noises: Clicking, clunking, squeaking, or rattling sounds coming from the drivetrain area can indicate worn components within the driveshaft
