Accessory Drive Belt Kit

An accessory drive belt, also referred to as a serpentine belt, functions by transferring power from the engine crankshaft to various accessories like the alternator, water pump, power steering pump, and air conditioning compressor. Essentially driving these rotating assembles through a series of pulleys with the belt's rotation. It is important to check the belt for cracks, fraying, or excessive wear during routine maintenance, keeping in mind most manufacturers recommend replacing the accessory drive belt at specified mileage intervals, typically between 50,000 and 100,000 miles. Proper tensioning of the belt is also crucial, so while servicing or inspecting an accessory drive belt, it is important to also inspect the belt tensioner and supporting idler pulleys.

Works!
Great kit as usual. Fairly straight forward and easy to install (once you take the radiator fan off). A review also said to get an o-ring (# 999 707 360 40) for the dipstick which you will need to remove, which I also recommend. Took me about 5 hours to install. Also worth while to replace the oil pressure sender while you're down there

Great kit!
Had to replace a thermostat so decided to refresh the water pump and accessory drive. This kit in combination with their thermostat/water pump kit made for everything I needed without hunting for a punch of part numbers. Great brands, great price. A+ Only one suggestion, throw in an oil dipstick o-ring, it has to be removed to remove one of the idler pulleys and would be nice to replace the o-ring.
