  • Helps Correct Caliper Drag: Replacing deteriorated seals and boots can help address sticking pistons, uneven pad wear, excessive heat, and brake drag when these components are the cause.

  • Protects Internal Components: New dust boots help keep moisture, dirt, road salt, and debris away from the piston and caliper bore.

Service Note:

  • Brake caliper rebuilding requires careful inspection of the caliper piston and bore. Corroded, scored, or otherwise damaged components may require additional replacement or make the caliper unsuitable for rebuilding.
