Restore proper brake caliper operation with this Frenkit Front Brake Caliper Piston. Designed for select Porsche brake calipers, this replacement piston allows a serviceable original brake caliper to be rebuilt without replacing the complete caliper assembly.

Brake caliper pistons are exposed to repeated heat cycles, moisture, road salt, and brake system contaminants throughout their service life. Over time, the piston surface can become corroded, pitted, or damaged. A deteriorated piston can interfere with the piston seal, restrict smooth movement within the caliper bore, and contribute to brake fluid leaks, sticking brakes, uneven pad wear, or excessive brake temperatures.

Replacing a damaged piston during a brake caliper rebuild helps restore a smooth sealing surface and proper piston movement. Manufactured by Frenkit for application-specific fitment, this replacement piston is an ideal solution when the original caliper body remains serviceable but the existing piston is no longer suitable for reuse.

Service Note

Always inspect the brake caliper bore, piston seals, dust boots, and related components when replacing a caliper piston. Corrosion, scoring, or structural damage to the caliper body may make the caliper unsuitable for rebuilding.

For a complete repair, replace worn piston seals and dust boots as required and use the correct brake fluid and brake-compatible assembly lubricant specified for the application. Always verify vehicle and brake caliper fitment before installation.
