The engine coolant level sensor is a crucial part of a vehicle's cooling system, responsible for monitoring the level of coolant in the engine. This sensor consists of a small float inside a cylindrical housing, mounted to the side of the coolant reservoir. As the coolant level changes, the float moves up or down, altering the electrical signal transmitted by the sensor to the vehicle's computer.
