The convertible top hydraulic cylinder uses hydraulic fluid to operate the cylinder which raises and lowers the top. When this part fails it will leak fluid. The hydraulic cylinder includes hardware and new banjo bolt washers. Pair this with the hydraulic fluid of your choice, 00004320489.

A convertible top hydraulic cylinder is a key component in a power-operated convertible roof system, responsible for raising and lowering the top. Powered by hydraulic fluid pressure from the pump, the cylinder extends or retracts to move the roof frame smoothly and evenly. Reliable hydraulic cylinders ensure consistent top operation, weather sealing, and ease of use for the driver and passengers.

Convertible Top Hydraulic Cylinder Failure Symptoms
  • Slow or uneven movement of the convertible top when opening or closing.
  • Hydraulic fluid leaks visible around the cylinder or inside the cabin/trunk.
  • Complete top failure, where the roof will not move due to loss of hydraulic pressure.
