Product Information

The stock connecting rods use a cracked-rod design and the original bolt diameter is too small for the load the connecting rods place on it. Failure occurs through consistent engine use in the high rpm range. The solution is to install performance connecting rods and larger fasteners.

These connecting rods come with H11 tool steel (WMC) bolts. The H11 tool steel bolts are good for 15-18 torque cycles.

This connecting rod set from CP-Carrillo is a direct replacement to the factory connecting rods and can be used with both a stock engine rebuild or performance engine rebuild.
