All Competition Plenums include the throttle body gasket and new throttle body bolts.

The revolutionary and patented design of the IPD Porsche Plenums improve intake air flow by replacing the factory plastic "T" style design with a more efficient, cast aluminum "Y" design. This innovative “Y” diversion area of the IPD Plenums split and channel intake air flow reducing air flow turbulence and increasing air flow velocity. This superior and proven design ultimately results in considerable power gains throughout both horsepower and torque curves. Performance is also enhanced with our uniquely dimpled interior surfaces which create improved boundary layers further optimizing intake air flow characteristics.

The IPD Boxster/Cayman "Competition" Plenum was designed to meet the needs of the most demanding enthusiasts. The "Competition" Plenums is even larger and utilizes the 997 GT3 82mm throttle body allowing it to deliver even greater air flow and substantial increases in performance.

The "Competition" version is designed to work with both stock Boxster/Cayman models but produces even more horsepower gains (20+) with cars already equipped with aftermarket "cat-back" performance exhaust and other performance mods.
