Product Information

Billet steel single-mass midweight flywheel. Includes pilot bearing.

18lb steel midweight flywheel for ODB1 ECU systems. The heavier flywheel prevents stalling issues for a sporty but not too light street car setup.

Please see installation instructions page, the larger portion of the spring carrier must face towards the flywheel so the clutch diaphragm spring will not contact the clutch disc.

Clutch Flywheel

A clutch flywheel is a heavy, circular metal disc (usually made of steel or cast iron) mounted on the rear of the engine’s crankshaft in manual transmission vehicles. It plays a key role in both engine operation and clutch engagement.

Clutch Flywheel Failure Symptoms
  • Clutch slippage or poor engagement – worn or damaged flywheel surface reduces grip.
  • Vibrations or shuddering – felt when engaging the clutch due to hot spots, warping, or cracks.
  • Difficulty starting the engine – damaged flywheel teeth prevent the starter motor from engaging properly.
