Product Information

This kit from the Porsche team at FCP Euro is a massive cooling upgrade for your narrowbody 996 Carrera. It includes everything you need to convert your base two radiator setup to the three radiator configuration found on rare x51 Powerkit models. While you're in there upgrading the radiators and increasing cooling capacity, we also include replacements for the (likely worn) associated coolant hoses on your 996 911. For this kit, we chose to offer a set of high performance CSF Race radiators, featuring fully aluminum construction and double row cores.

This setup is perfect for the DIY enthusiast looking to provide additional cooling capacity in a factory package. This kit is well suited for cars that will be used on track, and will provide excellent temperature protection to the heat-sensitive M96 powerplant.

It's a good idea to replace and refresh the radiators on your 996, even if you chose factory/OE replacement radiators. Many 996's succumb to buildup and debris caught between the radiators and A/C compressors, resulting in a serious reduction in cooling capacity. For spirited driving or light track use, full effectiveness of the factory radiators is required to adequately cool the M96.

For the most comprehensive cooling setup upgrade for your 996 Carrera, we recommend our third radiator setup, paired with our factory upgraded water pump kit, KIT-996WTRPMKT6. This setup is indented to keep your M96 powered 911 cool and withstand cup car levels of abuse.
