Product Information

At FCP Euro we have built a brake kit specifically for models with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). The brake pads will typically wear faster than the rotors, therefore this kit does not include the carbon ceramic rotors because if they pass the inspection outlined by Porsche they can be reused.

Kit Contents:

  • (1) Rear Brake Pad Set
  • (2) Brake Pad Wear Sensors
  • (2) Brake Pad Retaining Clips

It is recommended to replace the brake caliper mounting bolts, N91183701, since they are one time use only. 2 bolts required per brake caliper.

Any idea why the pad design on these is a little different from the originals on my 2016 Cayenne Turbo S? The surface area of these pads has the cutouts on the sides which means there is less pad in contact with the rotor. The pad material also looks a little different, like there is less copper in them.

I'm sure over time these have gone through several pad revisions, unfortunately the tecnical specs for these are not available. I would imagine less metal compound and more fiber for any NVH, but no way to know for sure.
