This brake kit fits Macan S models with PR Code 1LF or 1LB (Silver Brake Calipers).

At FCP Euro we have built a comprehensive brake kit intended to fully replace worn out components and restore the performance of your front and rear brake system.

Kit Contents:

  • (1) Front Brake Pad Set
  • (2) Brake Pad Wear Sensors
  • (2) Brake Hardware Kits
  • (4) Brake Rotor Screws
  • (2) 350mm Front Brake Rotors
  • (1) Rear Brake Pad Set w/ Hardware (1 Brake Pad Wear Sensor included with pad set)

  • (4) Front brake caliper mounting bolts

Only 2 of the bolts included in the rear brake pad set are used on the Macan S models. We have included the other two caliper to carrier mounting bolts, WHT001921, in this kit to allow for a full and complete installation. The remaining two bolts in the brake pad set will be discarded.

Terrible brake squeal, Textar semi-metallic pads are absolutely garbage. Get Ceramic.
I would never buy this brake pad again.

Squeaaaaak
Everything fits as it should but the Zimmerman pads are impossible to get to stop squealing at low speeds, even when you rebel them it comes back after a very short driving time they’re unbelievably noisy at low speed.

Excellent Porsche Macan S Brake Kit - easy DIY money saver
With the exception of tools, this kit included everything that I needed to do the brake job on my 2017 Macan S. All the parts fit perfectly and seem to be of excellent quality. The local Porsche dealer quoted a ridiculous $3,313 plus tax for the brake job. This kit cost $741. I purchased a few tools to make the job easier but, even with the tool expenses, the savings was huge. I had good luck with the Lang Brake Rotor Puller, rotors came off easily without a lot of whacking. I used an AutoWanderer Brake Caliper Compression Tool (piston spreader), it's okay, cheap and gets the job done. I considered spending the $131 for an iCarsoft POR-II Porsche OBD-II Scanner Tool, a safe and sane way to retract the electronic parking brakes, but instead, I used the "12 volt battery hack" to retract the parking brakes (cost zero, old motorcycle battery and some wire I had laying around, numerous You Tube videos on how to do it). Macan rear brake tip: There’s a small bracket held on with an hex screw that holds the brake line. Removing this screw and bracket will make it easier to remove/replace the caliper. Re-tighten the hex screw to 9nm.
