Product Information

This brake kit fits Macan Base, S, and GTS models with PR Code 1KD, 1KE, or 1KY.

At FCP Euro we have built a comprehensive brake kit intended to fully replace worn out components and restore the performance of your rear brake system.

Kit Contents:

  • (1) Rear Brake Pad Set w/ Hardware (1 Brake Pad Wear Sensor included with pad set)
  • (1) Additional Brake Pad Wear Sensor
  • (2) Brake Rotor Screws
  • (2) 330mm Rear Brake Rotors

Only 2 of the bolts included in the brake pad set are used on the Macan Base, S, and GTS models. We have included the other two caliper to carrier mounting bolts, WHT001921, in this kit to allow for a full and complete installation. The remaining two bolts in the brake pad set will be discarded.

It is recommended to replace the brake caliper mounting bolts, (2) N91041702 and (2) N91126801, since they are one time use only. 1 of each bolt is required per brake caliper.

2017 Porsche Macan S Rear Brake Kit
This whole kit has everything you need for this service. I love all the replacement hardware, screws, and sensors. At first I was afraid it only had a single sensor in the kit, but one of them was in it's own bag and the other was included with the Pads. The only thing that's not included here is brake grease - but that's a dollar at the local store. The disks have a great initial coating that I prefer a million times over the old assembly grease that these parts used to come coated in that required brake cleaner to remove before install. With these disks you can just take them out of the box and install them. My only complaint with that was that they come in a single box with a small cardboard separator that allows them to rub each other a little in transit. Neither of mine was actually marred, but they did have a couple scuffs. The pads have a nice "quiet" pad on the back of the pad that is a little thicker than the OEM one. That, combined with the brake grease, makes for a completely noiseless experience. I used the original Audi pads on the front in a previous replacement and they slightly squeak, so this was a nice improvement. The wear sensors are at least as good as the originals and click into the holding bracket as they should. Be careful not to lose that bracket when you remove the top Caliper bolt - it will come off with the bolt but needs to be reused. The mounting bracket and bolts included are all top notch. There are 2 extra bottom caliper bolts included since the set only comes with 4, so don't worry that you have some extras. The mounting bracket bolts for the caliper are NOT included, but are reusable. Just put a TINY dab of red thread lock on them when you re-install. Stopping power and brake vectoring seem exactly the same as the originals (which was already VERY good), so I see no reason to worry about performance. Overall this kit made sourcing all of the components effortless and I'm very happy with the quality of the parts. I highly recommend this set.

Macan Rear Brake Kit
The rear brake kit comes with 100% parts needed for the job, unlike the front kit. Double check the brake pads when installing them because they matter where they go (inside vs outer).

Great kit. Everything you need. Turned out to be one of the easiest rear brake jobs I've done. Love the Autel MX808 scanner too. Set the EPB in service mode like I was a pro. Thanks FCP Euro!
