Brake bedding-in guideline.

Braking procedures for the first 20 braking applications should be carried out gently and carefully from a max speed of 30 miles per hour. The second set of brake applications will be 15 - 20 times from a medium speed and medium pressure. Allow the brakes to cool down in between braking to avoid thermal shock. Finally, use a moderate driving style and avoid any unnecessary, hard or continuous braking for the first 186 miles. If the components are not bedded-in properly, material transfer between the disc and pad may lead to vibrations or noises, which is not ideal for newly fitted pads.

Kit Includes:

  • (2) 360mm Front Brake Rotors
  • (1) Brake Pad Set
  • (2) Brake Pad Wear Sensors
  • (2) Brake Rotor Set Screws (M12x1.5x19.3)

It is recommended to replace the brake caliper mounting bolts, WHT004571, since they are one time use only. 2 bolts required per brake caliper.

Squeals
Followed the bed in procedure, and was good for about 2 months. Now they randomly squeal. I can let off the brake and then apply again and it stops. It's totally random and pisses me off. Never straying from OEM on these again.

Annoying Brake Squeak
It's been over 3 months after installing this brake kit from Sebro and they're still squeaking when applying the brakes.
