Product Information

At FCP Euro we have built a comprehensive brake kit intended to fully replace worn out components and restore the performance of your rear brake system.

This kit is built to provide a performance improvement over the factory brake system. We've included Ferodo Racing DS2500 brake pads to provide greater stopping power with aggressive torque and predictable control.

Next we've replaced the factory cross-drilled brake rotors will Sebro slotted brake rotors. A weak point in cross-drilled rotors is that they're prone to cracking around the drilled hole under extreme use. This compromises the safety and integrity of the rotor. Slotted rotors provide an increase in surface area for the brake pads while being able to handle heat better.

We purposely left out the brake pad dampers to allow for faster and easier brake pad replacement while at the track. These can be purchased separately if needed.

It is recommended to replace the brake caliper mounting bolts, 99907340201, since they are one time use only. 2 bolts required per brake caliper.

What is the difference between these Ferrodo pads and OEM brake pads included in the other brake kits? What is the difference between these slotted Sebro disks and the cross drilled Sebro disks ncluded in the other brake kits?

The Ferodo Racing brake pads are a hybrid street/track brake pad. Here is an excerpt from the product page, "The DS2500 is one of the best hybrid street/track pads on the market. It features the moderately high bite and solid fade resistance of a track pad, with the relatively low dust and noise levels of a street pad. When used as a street pad, it can produce some squeal on certain vehicle platforms. During aggressive driving the DS2500 is known for its flat torque curve, which means as temperatures go up, the response through the brake pedal remains consistent. If you drive aggressively on the street, do some canyon runs, autoX, and maybe some light track duty on street tires, the DS2500 is tough to beat." The OEM brake pads are made for daily driving and will be quieter and create more dust. Slotted brake discs, as stated in the kit description, are preferred over cross-drilled for any track usage as the drilled holes are a weak point when introduced to prolonged, high stress braking since cranks can develop around these holes. Slotted rotors provide an increase in surface area for the brake pads while being able to handle heat better.
