Use this complete and comprehensive auto trans service kit to replace your auto trans oil filter and fluid. Kit includes auto trans fluid, filter, gaskets, and hardware.

Porsche recommends fluid and filter changes every 160,000 miles or 16 years, but that is a long time to go without servicing one of the most important and expensive components of your Porsche.

For the longest life and best performance we recommend changing the automatic transmission fluid and filter every 60,000 miles as preventative maintenance. Lack of service can lead to driveability issues, poor shift quality, and reduced transmission life.

Top Tec ATF 1800 is one of the new generation of low viscosity high-performance oil for automatic transmissions. It is based on fully synthetic technology with modern, high-performance additives. Aside from excellent aging and oxidation stability, optimal shifting is guaranteed under all operating conditions thanks to the extremely high viscosity index. It enables long oil change intervals.

Transmission Service Kit

The transmission oil filter prevents harmful particulate matter from entering the transmission valve body and damaging valve body bores, solenoids, and other fluid passages. Foreign particles in valve body bores, solenoids, or passages will cause shifting issues. Some of these issues include delayed shifts, harsh shifts, or no gear engagement in extreme cases. Clogged filters can reduce fluid volume and flow in the transmission causing starvation of the transmission pump. This can be identified by an RPM-dependent whine from the transmission bell housing area. The transmission oil filter should be changed during any fluid service, and it is critical to replace the filter if major transmission components are replaced such as the torque converter, transmission pump, or transmission valve body.

Porsche Cayenne - Transmission Service
Worked great for transmission service. No modifications needed anymore as the kit has been updated to 8 bottles of fluid.

Hodge podge kit
As others have mentioned, would recommend additional 2 liters ATF to complete the service. The large fill plug and o-ring are unnecessary. (The 958 trans drains and fills from the same hole on the bottom of the pan) And a duplicate valve body o-ring is included as part of the kit.

Just shy of being perfect
Great kit and value. Only miss was needed 8-9 liters of fluid instead of the included 6 for a basic drain and fill. Just add on a few bottles à la carte and you’ll be good to go. 2016 958.2 CS

Great
Worked great for my 2016 Cayenne GTS. The fill plug and fill plug washer are not needed, but I did get an extra bottle of fluid and it was needed. Also used a flared adapter to screw into the drain plug hole and had a hose with a pump to pump in the new fluid.
