Roof Molding

The roof molding is a trim component installed along the edges of the vehicle’s roofline, designed to cover seams and provide a finished, streamlined appearance. In addition to enhancing exterior styling, it helps protect against water intrusion, reduces wind noise, and can serve as a mounting channel for roof racks or luggage carrier systems. Typically made from durable plastic or metal with weather-resistant coatings, the roof molding is engineered to withstand UV exposure and harsh environmental conditions.

  • Loose, lifted, or missing molding – compromises roof sealing and appearance.
  • Cracks, warping, or breakage – caused by age, impact, or prolonged sun exposure.
