A direct injection high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) is a critical component in modern gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines. Unlike traditional fuel pumps, it boosts fuel pressure to extremely high levels (often over 2,000 psi) so fuel can be directly injected into the combustion chamber. This enables better fuel atomization, improved efficiency, and higher power output. The HPFP is typically driven by the camshaft and works in tandem with a low-pressure fuel pump. Over time, wear, contamination, or internal failure can lead to drivability issues.

lasted exactly 1 year before needing replacement on a daily driver. would not buy again. none available on site, so who knows if the lifetime warranty will be honored if buying another one of a different brand.
FCP-euro saved us both time and money on this high quality High Pressure Fuel Pump. Pump fit and worked like OE, unit was delivered as fast as our local dealers in Chicagoland. Price was very fair and saved our customer some money. I would recommend this pump and FCP-euro to everyone.
Have had installed for almost 2 years and not a single HPFP related issue. Great value as opposed to the OEM replacement being double the price.
When my 2008 Mini Cooper S started having cold start issues, I tried everything - new plugs, coils, fuel filter, in-tank fuel pump, etc. But nothing helped, so I finally bought the relatively higher cost option of replacing the high pressure fuel pump (HPFP). FCP Euro delivered it ahead of schedule - I received it Friday vs. the Monday after the weekend. I woke up early Saturday morning, armed with a few specific tools (12mm flare wrench, hose pliers to release the supply hose, a T30 socket and 1/4" drive torque wrench set to 15 nm). An hour later, with a perfect match to the factory original HPFP, the new unit was installed with relative ease. Problem solved! The car now runs perfectly, with no cold start problems, nice smooth acceleration, no error codes, and perhaps a little more power than it had before the new HPFP. I could not be more pleased with the part, the service, or the communication from FCP Euro. While I considered other sources for a new HPFP, I felt FCP Euro delivered the best value, knowledge and support to help me finally solve the problem with my favorite car. Thanks FCP Euro!! Dan
Looks like the OEM one and fired up first crank!
Installed the PSA pump after mistakenly trying a pump from EBay that lasted 2 days before the pressure regulator fell off. Fixed my start and surging issues.
Pump appears identical to original and installs easily. Several good youtube videos on installation. Consider getting new mounting bolts as they come with threadlocker applied. Also, I had leaking from the high pressure line at the pump after replacement, and had to replace the line with a new one which solved the problem. The fuel lines are said to be a one time use item. High pressure line has torque specifications, and a crows foot on an extension worked well to do this. Replaced pump at about ⅓ cost of independent shop using Mini parts.
Works flawlessly and can't beat the guarantee.
Avoid buying cheap and go with this one.
Cant go wrong with genuine mini/bmw part. Noticed my car 2008 Mini Cooper Clubman S loose power after a 2,000 mile trip at the very end. I was able to drive it home like that but it had no boost and dash light would come on. Did some research and found it that this high pressure fuel pump is a common failure. So i went ahead and ordered the pump with the fuel lines that connect to it, the low pressure fuel pump in the gas tank and the fuel filter. changed everything out same day and 10,000 miles later haven't had a problem! would highly recommend!

Hello,
I live in Canada and I discovered your company on internet last night.
I bought this model of high pressure fuel pump on Amazon for about 300$ CAD (item come from China).
The HPFP does’nt work on my Mini Cooper S 2010 R56 Engine n14. The car makes many misfire and backfire, the output pressure is approximatly 3 bar. I’m interresting to buy a HPFP at FCP Euro but I whant to know the output pression in « bar » for this item before ordering. I whant to be sure this HPFP will make best performances for my car because I will pay about 1250$ CAD included taxes, duties, transport and money change. Thank you and excuse my english, I speak french.

This is the same high-pressure fuel pump that would be sold by Mini/BMW in North America. The N14 engine is a modular engine built and designed by PSA (Peugeot/Citreon/BMW engine alliance). This high-pressure fuel pump does not have a specific output rating because the required fuel rail pressure is variable based on engine load. Fuel pressure at the fuel rail is determined by the fuel quantity control valve on the high-pressure fuel pump itself. The expected pressure is anywhere from 50 bar at idle to upwards of 120 bar at full engine load. 3 bar of pressure at the fuel rail is basically the pressure you expect on the low pressure side of the fuel system which is an indicator your high pressure fuel pump is not further pressurizing the fuel for the high pressure side of the fuel system.
