Pressure plate bolt secure the clutch pressure plate to the clutch flywheel. When performing a clutch service on your R52 or R52 MINI Cooper S it's critical to also replace all mounting hardware.

Great! Another E-Torx bolt!
These are one-time use bolts which must be replaced when you remove the clutch pressure plate. And are you really going to do THAT much work and risk it all on these stupid little bolts? Of course not! Word of advice: Do not use a power tool to remove these bolts. They can be very tight and it is very easy to strip off the heads. Then, you can bust out a grinder and have lots of fun. Don't ask me how I know... but I know. So take your time and use a hand ratchet to loosen these. This is pretty much always the case with E-Torx bolts, which are almost always soft, stretchy, one-time use bolts on European cars.
