MINI Headlight Washer Cover - Genuine MINI 61679805541

Product Information

A Headlight Washer is a feature found in some vehicles, typically higher-end or luxury models, that sprays washer fluid onto the headlights to keep them clean. It uses small nozzles, often integrated into the front bumper or the headlight assembly, to spray fluid directly onto the headlight lenses, which helps to remove dirt, grime, and other debris that can accumulate, particularly in adverse weather conditions. Keeping headlights clean enhances visibility and safety by ensuring maximum light output.

• No Fluid Spray on Headlights: The most obvious sign of a headlight washer failure is when there’s no fluid spraying onto the headlights when activated, even though the windshield washers may still work
• Washer Fluid Leaks: Leaks under the front bumper, especially near the headlights, can indicate a leak in the headlight washer hoses, connectors, or the washer pump itself

About Genuine Mini

The original parts used by Mini to build your car are available as replacement parts under the “Genuine Mini” brand. Manufactured under the direction of Mini, expect excellent quality and a premium price since these parts are exclusively available through the Mini Dealership network.

You may not realize this, but the parts that make up your Mini are not necessarily manufactured by Mini. No cause for concern, as Mini designs the part, hires a manufacturer, and ensures its quality to you. In fact, many of these manufacturers have been making parts for Mini for decades. In our industry these manufacturers are called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), and these are often brands you recognize, including Lemforder, ZF, Sachs, Bosch, Valeo, Zimmermann, Siemens VDO, Corteco, and more. Don’t be surprised to open that Genuine Mini parts box and find an OEM branded part inside, simply with the addition of a Mini logo.

Be sure to keep an eye out for OE tags on our product pages to quickly identify parts coming direct from OE manufacturers. That extra bit of insight could save you some serious money while shopping! Refer to our OE Academy for further information regarding the OE/OEM tags throughout the site.
