A Back Glass Wiper Arm is the component of a vehicle's rear windshield wiper system that connects the wiper blade to the wiper motor. The wiper arm pivots to sweep the blade across the rear window, clearing away rain, snow, or debris to improve visibility. It is typically made of metal or durable plastic and is designed to withstand weather conditions.

Wiper Arm Failure Symptoms
  • Wiper Blade Not Moving: If the wiper arm is not moving when the rear wiper is activated, it could indicate a problem with the arm itself, such as a broken connection to the wiper motor or a stripped gear within the motor
  • Wiper Blade Stopping Mid-Arc: A wiper arm that stops moving in the middle of its arc can suggest that it is loose, damaged, or has a stripped pivot point, preventing it from completing the intended wiping motion
