About Odometer Gears

Owned by Jeff Caplan, Odometer Gears started out when the Owner of the company needed to replace the Odometer gear on his 1980 BMW 528I to complete the restoration of the vehicle. However, after searching from repair shop to repair shop, everyone want to sell him the entire cluster repair service or in some cases the entire instrument cluster itself which could cost up to $1600 installed. Once he made his first gear, word got out and he quickly started getting orders from other enthusiasts. Today, Odometer Gears still has the passion and drive to make inexpensive solutions to repair expensive components by developing smaller parts to repair them.

Mono Wiper Gear
This gear does not fit all wipers on models listed. There are different styles of gear and the package (when it arrived) says "Bosch Only". Check the original gear carefully and compare it to the picture. My 1989 190E 2.6L has a gear with a metal frame and screws to the wiper mechanism. This gear does not work in my wiper. The gear tooth pitch is different as well.
