Product Information

The only comprehensive OE tie rod kit on the market for your E-Class or CLS! This kit will correct steering slop, and vagueness resulting from worn tie rod joints. FCP Euro recommends a four wheel alignment after replacing tie rods.

Steering Tie Rod End Kit

The tie rods of your vehicle play a critical role as they're the link between the power steering rack and pinion and the wheel spindle. Tie rod ends contain ball joints that tend to wear out over time due to constant wear and tear. When the ball joints within the tie rod wear out, it allows for play within the wheels which can throw off your alignment and cause uneven tire wear. Its always encouraged to check your tie rod ends for play as well as tires for uneven wear at every service interval. When replacing worn tie rod ends its always recommend to replace them in pairs as well as to perform an alignment.

These are OEM
I don't normally buy many aftermarket parts as I have almost always been able to get parts from the dealer for roughly the same as what an aftermarket part costs, of course times have changed. I learned in my experience buying dealer parts that most of Mercedes steering components have been made by Lemforder. Even the tie rods I bought for my 1987 300SDL from the dealership have the Lemforder logo on them, as well as the Mercedes star. All of the components in this kit are made in Germany, with the exception of the boots being made in Italty. I have zero feelings or thoughts of regrets having gone with Lemforder over the Genuine parts as these are pretty much Genuine parts, just without the 3 point star. The only difference you will ever find is the hardware, MB uses their own supplier for hardware so it isn't uncommon to find the original nut being flanged lock nut and the one supplied in these kits to be a standard lock nut. Usually I just buy new hardware from MB, I don't typically use the nuts and bolts that come with aftermarket stuff. Anyways, you cannot go wrong with this kit.

Fixes my loose tie rods, Worth every penny to go as close to O.E. as possible. My car is driving like new again 151k!

Mercedes Tie Rod Service Kit
Replaced both tie rods on my w211 E55 after I noticed the worn out bushings/ball joints. In addition one of the plastic boots was cracked. This kit included everything needed, I made sure I measured the old setup and thread down to mm, and car did not even need an alignment. However considering I have an unlimited alignment plan from Firestone purchased years ago, I fully put it to use and realigned all 4 corners.

steering tight again!
perfect oem replacement they gave us a litttle trouble on the first one but the second tie rod installed very quickly. Make sure you measure your spacing we didnt and had to play around with the alignment a bit to get it straight, but im putting it on the alignment rack tomorrow so we straight. everything on my tie rods were rusted but boots intact so the inner tie rod came off with out issues. Another 1000$ saved doing this at our home garage. so happy to have all the parts included in the box for the full install only bought large channel locks and some of the special pliers for the new boot clamps and used milwakee impact tools thanks again FCP gang!

W211 Tie Rod Ends
Replaced the MOG parts that had the boots split after 2 years. Installation was easy, fitment was good. So far they are working well and no signs of problems with the boots.
