Incorrect Spring Rate
My ML55 had broken rear springs, so I needed new ones. Let me just say first that the ML55 AMG and the non-AMG MLs are not supposed to have the same spring/shock, but yet this thing advertises that it works for all. It does fit, however the AMG is supposed to have a different ride-height and feel than the non-AMG. I bought these and installed them and WOW these springs are SUPER incorrect. On my ML55 it sits too low, the spring just isn't strong enough, the vehicle hits the bump stops with just 5 people sitting in the car, and this thing used to tow cars with its old springs. The color codes of the spring are different which means these springs are different from the actual correct ones, this one is white blue brown when my old ones where brown white yellow white. God forbid you have a non AMG which is supposed to sit higher than the AMG.

Great replacement to complement my new bilstein front shocks. Easy installation to drop out the old and install the new complete assembly. My only criticism is Bilstein should include at minimum , new top nuts. My original top mounting nuts were showing signs of rust which may have added to some effort to loosen. Highly recommended unless you are equipped with a truck grade spring compressor to r&r your worn struts and have willingness for the extra work.

Great replacement for the original springs which broke on my vehicle. I was able to replace these myself without too much trouble. Great ride.
