Common failure symptoms include longer than usual compressor run time, malfunction warning or visit workshop warning. We recommend replacing the compressor relay whenever you replace the suspension compressor.
An air suspension compressor is an electric or engine-driven pump that supplies pressurized air to a vehicle’s air suspension system. It fills the air springs or struts to maintain proper ride height, adjust suspension stiffness, and ensure comfort and handling balance. The compressor works in coordination with sensors and valves to regulate pressure. Over time, it can wear out from constant use, air leaks, or electrical issues.
Air Suspension Compressor Failure Symptoms- Vehicle sagging – one or more corners of the vehicle sit lower due to insufficient air pressure.
- Noisy or overworking compressor – runs constantly, makes loud humming or grinding noises, or fails to shut off.
- Complete suspension failure – compressor does not activate, leading to loss of ride height adjustment and rough ride quality.

Shipping was fast, it came well packaged. I installed it a couple days ago and so far so good. Same brand as I had before, but that one was replaced back in 2008, so I have good expectations that will last long time as the old one.
Quiter, higher PSI, faster... Better than original. Clearly revised design from original made in 2006. Fixed my 'Air Suspension Malfunction' warning light on my Benz.
10/10 recommend this to anyone with an aging Air compressor, long run times, or any fault codes related to air suspension system.

Better than the cheap ones all over the internet. Beware! I spent too much money trying to save money. There is a difference.
GL 450 Air Compressor. Very well built, Solid. My truck was low on the front by an inch on both sides, front air shock are 1 yr old. Ride height in back was perfect. Air compressor would come on and run for several minutes then give malfunction warning or compressor cooling down. If you have these warning signs you need a new one. What a difference I am so glad I replaced this! One star off for no Relay included! FCP I would like a new relay, Can you provide the Link? Thank you and I hope this helps someone.
