Suspension Strut Assembly

If your ride feels a little bouncy or you can feel clunks in the suspension while it's going over bumps it is likely due to worn strut assemblies and shock absorbers. The purpose of the strut assembly is it acts as a central pivot point for the suspension while housing the coil spring. It also dampens the compression and rebound of the coil spring as the suspension moves up and down. When replacing suspension components it is highly recommended to replace them in pairs.

Great Substitution for AMG Struts
Strut rides just like the factory AMG struts for much less money. I replaced the strut mounts as well. My C63 rides like new.

There are two Genuine Mercedes versions of this part: one for cars with the Performance Package suspension and one for cars without. Which version is this? Is it the softer strut of the base suspension or the stiffer strut of the Performance Package?

This is not the AMG performance package strut (code 492). vehicles equipped with code 492 use PN 204 320 60 30.
