Exactly what has been "remanufactured"? Seals only? Gears replaced? I don't want a steering box that will have "play" in it when installed.

Usually during the re-manufacturing process seals are replaced along with other wear items including the internals (such as bearings). The only pieces of the original assembly left over are the housing or the steering box and drive gear.
