Because of supply chain constraints, your kit may include Genuine Mercedes, Genuine BMW, Rowe, or other G48 coolant. Any coolant included in this kit is ensured to be the optimum required coolant for your application.

Multi-Fit Radiator

This multi-fit radiator replaces several OE designs and may include ports not required for your specific vehicle, including integrated transmission cooler connections.

  • Installation: Match existing transmission lines to the corresponding ports on the new unit, mirroring your original layout.
  • Unused Ports: If your vehicle is a manual or does not use these lines, leave these connections exactly as they are.
  • Service Tip: To prevent leaks, we highly recommend replacing cooler line clips with a new Genuine Mercedes Cooler Connector (Part: 0002770554).
  • CRITICAL: Do not modify or plug unused connections. The closed internal circuit prevents leaks even without attached hoses.
Radiator

Your radiator is an integral, and arguably, the most important part of the cooling system. It is designed to expel heat from the coolant via the small fins. Most radiators fail when the end tanks crack causing leaks, but higher mileage radiators which have missing or bent fins often are clogged up with debris which can also cause overheating issues as the radiator cannot expel heat effectively. If your radiator is in rough shape we recommend replacing it. We also highly recommend inspecting/replacing the upper and lower radiator hose at that time.

'05 E320 CDI Radiator
**UP DATE** I retract my previous statement. I did have to go back in. Here's what happened. The Transmission cooler line quick disconnects became "Quick disconnect". Unfortunately it was 4;30 in the morning on Christmas day. The supplied/provided spring clip fitting "will not" keep the line connected. I ADVISE YOU TO REMOVE THE SPRING FITTING FROM YOUR OLD RADIATOR. New ones are C*AP!!! Nissens tighten it up. QC is lacking.

'05 E320 CDI Nissens Radiator
Product itself is supplied with the O-rings (coolant: upper, lower, Trans: upper and lower) BONUS! Radiator was packaged for shipment to Bagdad. Double boxed and padded. The job itself is problematic. Separate the cooling package and extract the radiator. Easy, right? However, going back together is where it breaks down. My advice is to bite the bullet. Remove the bumper cover. This allows the removal of all the air dams and open the "onion" to extract the radiator without tearing and breaking all the plastics. In short, radiator appears to be the highest quality. My mind is at ease that I will not have to go back in down the road. A++

Love the customer support than the product
Had a busted radiator so I went with the Nissen unit and took it to the MB dealer. Only a few days later the ends busted on the new radiator and had to replace it again. Got in contact with Nissen and let them know what happened. They cut me a check for the labor. I appreciate them taking care of me when they didn't have. I told them I am going with an OEM unit but there were no hard feelings.

You can use tap water in most cases however distilled water is recommended
