Product Information

We recommend replacement of the the plugs and wires every 60-70k miles. Spark plug wires are commonly overlooked however they are typically the source of many ignition related running issues. We include the correct Mercedes service tool to make installation easier especially in the rear cylinders.

Ignition Kit

An ignition coil is a vital car component that produces high-voltage electricity to generate a spark at the spark plug, igniting the air-fuel mixture within the engine cylinder. When an ignition coil fails, it can cause engine misfires, rough idling, reduced power, an illuminated check engine light, difficulty starting the engine, and sometimes backfiring. These issues arise from weak or inconsistent sparks produced by the malfunctioning coil.

Most every thing about this kit was great, except for the build quality on some of the plug wires... For one they don't have the factory lettering for ease of install, but several on the plug wires wouldn't securely attach to the coil packs, only to discover they were manufacturing flaws that prevented thier use... I ended up having to use 6 of my old original plug wires
