Aren't you supposed to replace the camshaft adjuster bolts? Why are they not part of this kit if the cam shaft adjuster washer is? And what would be the correct part # for that bolt.

es, the camshaft-adjuster bolts should be replaced whenever they are removed. The correct bolt is Genuine Mercedes 910105012018—one per camshaft, so quantity 4 is required for the complete M156 engine; we offer these bolts separately, but they should be added to this kit since it already includes the four replacement adjuster washers. I will pass this on to the MB team to inspect and update as needed.

Do the lifters need to be disassembled/oil prepped or are they ready to be installed out of box?

These lifters would have a procedure for proper oiling them that does not require disassembly. Essentially they would Install out of the box, after installation you are to run the engine at 2500 rpms until oil gets up to 80C. Inside of the packaging for these lifter INA provides a small recommended installation/warm up procedure.

This kit is for the intake and the exhaust valves.

The springs are not needed and this does not fit your CLS. We recommend kit KIT-1560500225 for the CLS

This is the most up to date revision of the factory part. At this point, the only upgrade to this component is the version offered on the SLS Black
