As a set, this kit is subpar. The pulley holder works perfectly, and the offset makes it easy to position the tool out of the way of the wrench. Unfortunately, the tolerances on the 36mm wrench are sloppy and it simply slips off the fan clutch nut. Tried for over an hour to get the wrench to stay on enough to loosen the bolt, and finally had to run to a local auto parts store and buy a different fan clutch set... That loosened the fan clutch nut on the first try in 30 seconds. If you can find just the pulley holding tool, grab it. Otherwise, a waste of money.

Will it work on a 2012 Sprinter with a om642 engine 6cyl.

The OM642 needs a 32mm wrench, this unfortunately will not be compatible.
