Before ordering a replacement fan it's a good idea to test the circuit to ensure that function isn't affected due to shorts or wiring issues.

The Engine Cooling Fan Assembly is a crucial component of a vehicle’s cooling system. It consists of an electric or mechanical fan, shroud, motor, and related wiring or clutch mechanism. Its main role is to pull or push air through the radiator to regulate coolant temperature, especially when the vehicle is idling or moving at low speeds where natural airflow is limited.
