I'd gone through a couple sets of OE Merc pads, which were fine. Decided to give these a try to reduce cost. They have good stopping power but the dust is far heavier than the factory pads. I'm cleaning my wheels much more frequently than I used to. I'm going to try Akebono instead next time. Failing that, it's back to genuine merc pads.
Pros:
Great stopping power and initial bite as expected with OE Semi Metallic Pads
Quality European Brand and manufacturing
Nice anti-noise backing plates
Excellent fit and finish as always with Textar Pads
Cons:
Relatively high dust and rotor wear
Increase pad wear as compared to ceramic pads

I went from original Mercedes pads to Akebono and now to these. The original Mercedes pads have the best performance but LOTS of brake dust and when they wore out I switched over to the Akebono pads paired with Zimmermann rotors, first thing I noticed with the Akebono pads is less initial bite than the Mercedes pads, but very little to no brake dust. These Textar pads have a slightly better initial bite than the Akebonos for sure but from memory I think they are slightly behind the original pads in terms of pedal travel and braking power. As for brake dust...there are some but definitely not as much as the originals. Overall they stop just fine and I would buy these again for my next brake job.Vehicle: ML350

Great Part, had on the vehicle for 6 months and it is just as good if not better then OEM.
They are great as good as the OEM. As a matter of fact during my A service they commented they were surprised that I was able to get them.
2015 Mercedese 450 GL, I am still awaiting break parts, not installed yet.
