Not for daily driving
I bought these a few years ago, thinking that my original pads were worn. Then I found original Jurids and had them on for over 70,000 miles. Finally installed these a month ago. They turned out to be more aggressive than needed for normal driving. The squealing and moaning noises after they warm up are absolutely unbearable (on the exact to the original Brembo rotors). My stereo can't drown them out and everybody on the road keeps looking around, probably thinking that someone is getting stabbed. I wish that FCP would give proper description of their products instead of listing a history of the manufacturer. I don't need to know what year Pagid started. I need to know if these pads are street or race. I was under the impression that these were exact factory replacements, because it only says semi-metallic. There is no other description whatsoever. "Let's face it, blah-blah-blah" is not helpful. I already know that brakes help slow my car down. Other comparable set doesn't even say what material it is. This is a common problem for me on this website. Now I'm out a Benjamin and the time to install new pads. Very annoying and not inspiring confidence in future purchases.
