Unfortunately they don't last forever and are considered to be a major wear item which must be replaced before they completely wear out and damage the brake rotor costing you more in repairs. Brake pads can be made of several materials such as a semi-metallic compound, ceramic compound, or organic. Brake pads are suggested to be checked frequently during oil changes or routine services for wear to ensure you have at least the minimum pad thickness as stated by the car manufacturer.

didn't fit
Didn't fit my 2019 c300 base rwd. there was some "play" where the pad itself is supposed to sit. ended up swapping it with a twr and that fit perfectly, with no play at all. this caused a clunky noise when going over some cracks and bumps on the road (akebono pad was literally moving around in the housing area). fyi. this may fit other cars, though! they stopped great while I had them in though if that matters

PERFECT
Dealership wanted to charge $700 to replace brake and rotors. Bought it off of FCP EURO and went to my local shop and installed these brake pads and rotors. They ARE PERFECT no more highway speed vibrations/squealing brakes. Save time and money by purchasing it from a FCP euro than from the dealer.. what a ripoff dealerships are.!!
